How to select the right frame?

Our frames are listed by the canvas/panel size they fit. For example, if you have a 12″ x 12″ canvas, select the 12″ x 12″ option. We will add 1 1/2″ to both height and width to account for the 1/2″ face width and the space between the canvas and the inner sides of the frame.

Each frame comes in 2 depth options

  • The 1-1/2″ depth frames for Standard Depth canvases of 3/4″.
  • The 2-1/4″ depth frames for Gallery Depth canvases of 1-1/2″.

Both can also accommodate an uncradled panel, by adding a support inside the frame. Please get in touch for a customs quote for this option.

All of our frames have a face width profile of 1/2″ and as a standard, the space between the canvas and the frame (the shadow) will be 1/8″. For frames of any other depth size, face profile or showdow width, please contact us for a custom quote.


What wood options do you offer for the float frames?

We currently offer frames in Red Oak, White Oak, Maple and Walnut, (with pine wood for the back strainer).


What colour options are available for frames?

We have a standard set of options available for the frames, but custom paint colors and stains are always an option, please message us if you would like something different than our standard colors.


Do you take custom orders?

Yes! We love working with artists to create custom pieces based on their needs. Please message us with your ideas and we can discuss.


Is pick up an option?

Yes! Clients are welcome to pick up in person. Please contact us if you’re interested in pick-up.


Where are you located?

We are located in Summerside, Prince Edward Island.


What is the local pickup lead time?

Our custom frames are available for pickup at our location in Summerside, PEI.  Each frame order is typically ready  within 8 -12 business days. 


Can you ship assembled frames?​

Yes, we can ship frames assembled anywhere within Canada and the US.

The price of shipping can vary dramatically, especially as the frame size gets larger. Due to this, we do not automatically have the option for shipping assembled frames on our website. If you would like us to ship  assembled frames, please contact us with the details of the frames that you would like to order along with your shipping address and we will work out a custom quote for you. 

Each frame order is usually shipped within 10-14 business days via standard shipping and can be shipped anywhere within Canada and the contiguous United States. Although we try our best to ship frames in a timely manner, we do not guarantee that it will be shipped out within our estimated time frame. Customers in the US are responsible for paying customs and duty charges as well as applicable taxes on all orders upon delivery. We cannot provide estimates on how much this will be.


Do you ship unassembled frames to assemble at home?​

We do not at the moment, but working on it. We should have news on this later in the year.

With unassembled frames, shipping costs are lower, due to the smaller size of package needed.

Assembling the frames and fitting artworks yourself at home allows for lower shipping costs  compared to shipping pre-assembled frames. Each frame can be put together with common household tools – glue, a hammer, and a flat surface! 

We will provide Instructional videos when we release this service.


Do you have a store that the public can visit?

Unfortunately no, our shop is not open to the public – scheduled pick ups only.


Can I purchase your products anywhere else?

Not at the moment, but we are interested in potentially expanding to retail stores. If you have a retail opportunity please message us.


What is the refund and return Policy?

Due to the custom nature of the product, all sales are final and no return or refunds can be offered.

However, if a frame arrives damaged or is not the size specified on your order, we will send out a replacement frame at no additional cost.

If the frame that you receive matches your order but your canvas doesn’t fit or is too deep due to being measured incorrectly, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or replacement.
